In a good bookroom you feel in some mysterious way that you are absorbing the wisdom contained in all the books through your skin, without even opening them. ― Mark Twain

The Louise Willard Memorial Library at Westgate Christian School provides a beneficial resource for our students and faculty alike. Each class from grades 1-6 has a scheduled library time each week when the library is reserved solely for their use. Library books, magazines and video/DVD media may be checked-out by the students but must be returned on time or a fine will be charged.  The library is available for use by classes 7-12 during the unreserved hours. We are pleased to have this resource available for our students and faculty, and we continue to appreciate the many hours and much effort given by Louise Willard to establish and develop the library which has been named in her honor.

We are also very happy to announce an addition to our library. We have recently been able to add a Bible/Religion Wing to our library, which is located in G2 of our Easler building, for use by our 7-12th graders. Complete with Bible maps and atlases, commentaries, devotional / study books, magazines, and DVD/media, it is a great addition to the Westgate library and will enable our young people to search the deeper truths of God’s Word.

In addition to having great resource materials for our students to use, the WCS Library is actively involved in fundraising activities such as Box Tops for Education, as well as several rewards programs with area stores such as BI-LO, Publix, Ingles, and Target. Please contact our school office to find out how your normal, everyday shopping can help our library program.
